*** weekend hire refers to taking a vehicle either (a) at the end of the working day on Friday or (b) at the start of the working day on Saturday. The vehicle must then be returned *before* 8am on the following Monday.

Transporter LWB Low-Roof

The VW Transporter LWB is more practical and long wheelbase version of the shorter VW Transporter SWB. The ability to get nearly 3 metres of length into the back of this van can prove essential. The power comes from the same VW 2 litre TD engine and despite the extra length it still doesnt feel like you’re driving a load moving vehicle.

LWB VW Transporter Practicality

1.39 metres tall and 2.97 metres long load area give the VW Transporter LWB an extra edge. Big enough in the back to fit most fridge freezers, wardrobes and sofas onboard with room to spare.

LWB VW Transporter Drive

It comes with all the high-tech standard VW extras for safety and comfort. Lurch is down to a minimum around the corners and the VW Transporter LWB can still power up the motorway with ease with the strong 2 litre diesel lump more than enough. Bluetooth compatibility and an army of ports and power sockets make long rides more palatable.
