*** weekend hire refers to taking a vehicle either (a) at the end of the working day on Friday or (b) at the start of the working day on Saturday. The vehicle must then be returned *before* 8am on the following Monday.

VW Transporter for Hire

The timeless, good looking, desirable VW Transporter. The ready roughness and reliability of a true workhorse with a character that has, and continues to, really resonate with the customer. All Transporters come with the powerful VW 2 litre TD engine and they retain the easy driving characteristics of much small vehicles.

VW Transporter Practicality

3 seats in the front, a 1.39 metre tall and 2.57 metre long load area make the Transporter a practical mover. Between the wheel arches the load drops to 1.24m but the rest of the load width is a healthy 1.69m. Big enough in the back to fit most sofas and all but the hugest kitchen appliances!

VW Transporter Drive

With ABS and TCS and a decent ride height you can be assured of a trouble free drive, firm and not bouncy around the corners. The engine supplies enough power and torque to get moving even under full load and the noise isn’t bad enough to be off-putting for even long journeys, a decent multi-speaker stereo system is enough to keep you entertained too.
