Hilux Design
The Hilux Invincible is a well-designed, modern looking vehicle with a chrome effect front grille and chrome finish door handles and mirrors, giving it a real presence. The Hilux also has large chrome sidebars with integrated steps making entry and exit from the cabin easy to accomplish. The Hilux has a large wheelbase and clearance supported by 17 inch, six-spoke alloy wheels benefitting from 4 wheel drive complete with traction control.
The Hilux is truly prepared for all driving conditions in any weather. It comes fitted with dusk sensing headlights which automatically turn on when required and they also benefit from an external washer system. In the colder weather the Hilux is prepared with a rear-window defog system and heated mirrors. For the times when visibility is poor the Hilux can utilise front fog lamps.
Whilst the vehicle is large there are no concerns regarding entrance to car parks or low bridges given the total height of the vehicle is just over 6 feet tall. The high driving position offers good visibility and the vehicle is easy to drive and park thanks to electronically controlled mirrors complimented by a rear view camera which displays on the centre console’s 6.1 inch display.
The Hilux also comes with the security of an alarm and immobilizer.
Driving Experince
For the driver the Hilux offers all the features you would expect, making this large vehicle comfortable to drive. The automatic gearbox removes the need to change gear and the Hilux offers the driver a footrest to ensure a comfortable driving position. Power steering and ABS (automatic braking system) are two essential features for a car of this size to assist the driver. There is also a cruise control system incorporated which can be controlled via the mounted controls on the leather steering wheel.
Given that the cabin has 5 seats it is more than suitable for children and comes fitted with child proof locks. All headrests are height adjustable and the cabin has plenty of airbags to ensure passenger safety. Sport seats in the front of the cabin are also a nice added touch.
Storage is what this vehicle was made for and in addition to the large boot there is more than sufficient storage inside the cabin in the door pockets, a lockable glovebox, under the seats in the rear and in the central tunnel. The rear windows also come fitted with privacy glass which is a nice additional feature to ensure no valuables are on show.
Features
Externally, the Hilux Invincible is fitted with central locking operated from the remote control key fob.
Internally, the Hilux Invincible comes with an integrated metallic effect centre console which houses the ‘Toyota Touch”. There is also on board Bluetooth connectivity ensuring your phone calls can be made handsfree.
The cabin is also fully climate controlled via air-conditioning.
The performance of the Hilux Invincible leaves nothing to be desired given that it is the top spec model in the range. The Invincible’s 3.0 litre engine reaches a top speed of 108mph and can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 12 secs which is something to be appreciated given the size and weight of the car. The fuel consumption on this model is 32.85mpg.

The on board rear boot dimensions are 5.06feet long, 4.97feet wide and 1.47feet high making it perfect for transporting equipment or any other form of load. If the you are hiring the Hilux for the purpose of towing a trailer then the braked towing capacity is 2500kg or 750kg if the trailer is unbraked.
The versatility of this spacious, large pickup vehicle make it an excellent hire option for transporting loads with the ability to also carry 5 passengers.
