*all Econorent rental vehicles with tow-bars have a 750kg unbraked towing capacity.
This means that if the wheeled-load you are towing doesn’t have it’s own ability to brake, it must not weigh over 750kg.

Looking to hire a vehicle with a tow-bar?
You may find this more difficult than you’d imagine. There are often inflated insurance costs due to the greater likelihood of accidents. Some hire car companies might add on a daily or a lump sum surcharge to cover their risk.
At Econorent a vehicle with a tow-bar is like any other. We don’t charge extra fee’s, we don’t require any extra paperwork or legwork from you to request one. All we ask is that you book early as we do have a limited number of vehicles with them attached.
